From the December 2007 CPA Technology Advisor review of high-end accounting systems:

Sage Software MAS 500 ERP serves the upper mid-market space of today's businesses. Sage MAS 500 is the strongest player in the Sage Software line-up of accounting solutions. Built from the ground up using Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, .NET and Microsoft Office technology, Sage MAS 500 is a complete enterprise management solution. Sage MAS 500 solutions expand to integrate business intelligence, order processing, distribution and manufacturing to help progressive companies streamline operations and manage with insight.

Version 7.05 introduced three key overlying themes: streamlined distribution workflow, greatly enhanced access to information, and a powerful new Warehouse Automation module. The Warehouse Automation module streamlines order picking and cycle counts for warehouse personnel, instantly feeding information wirelessly back to the Sage MAS 500 system in many different ways. A new module, Business Insights Explorer, allows the user a new level of inquiry, drilldown and drills around functionality.

Modules/Scalability - 5 Stars
Sage MAS 500 is a reliable, robust and integrated series of enterprise applications that covers all areas of business, including financials, distribution, customer relationship management (CRM), manufacturing, human resources, payroll, project accounting, financial reporting, electronic commerce, and more.
