Comprehensive Business Management & Payment Services Now Easy, Fast & All From Sage Software
Irvine, California - December 18, 2007 - Continuing the company's ongoing integration of market-leading business management applications, Sage Software announced today a new Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 Credit Card Processing module. The new credit card processing module is powered by Sage Payment Solutions, giving Sage MAS 90 and 200 customers the benefits of a comprehensive business management solution coupled with the profitability of credit card processing, all from Sage Software. In addition, the Sage MAS card processing system is managed by the Sage Payment Solutions Division rather than through a third party, resulting in lower credit card processing fees for customers.
Credit card purchasing continues to rise with more than $2 trillion in goods and services already purchased in 2007 by credit cards issued in the United States according to The Nilson Report (Issue 889, October 2007). Sage MAS 90 and 200 customers can take full advantage of this opportunity with the ease and efficiency offered by fully integrated credit card processing.
"Installation was simple and the new module already has saved us time and money," said Sherri Morfin, controller at Pearson Electronics and Sage MAS 90 user. "I would recommend this to anyone interested in internet credit card processing. This is a very easy program to use."
Sage Card Processing(TM) is fully integrated with Sage MAS 90 and 200 to enable users to authorize and process payments directly from within Sage MAS applications. The module provides a complete credit and debit card processing solution for mail order, telephone order and Internet businesses, including corporate purchasing cards. Data can be entered through the Sales Order and Accounts Receivable modules and the .store and .order e-Business Manager applets. Transactional information, such as authorization codes, is captured and stored within the appropriate application database for historical and reconciliation purposes.
